Grayson
Grayson Boyer is a multi-instrumentalist with classical piano training, specializing in Piano, Guitar and Ukulele with a focus on music theory and composition. He has been playing music since he was five years old, with nearly 20 years of piano experience, 15 years of guitar experience, and over 10 years of teaching experience. He has also worked in many facets of the music industry including in recording studios, music journalism, and large scale music production.
It is his goal to not only help his students become technically proficient musicians, but to help students build a deeper understanding of music as a comprehensive system and to develop skills that will follow them long after they finish lessons at Exploring Music.
Grayson has experience teaching in many genres, but specializes in classical, pop, rock and jazz. When he’s not teaching he’s avidly listening to new artists, practicing and writing music himself, and building his record and film collection. He enjoys reading and playing chess and can often be found in the back of the crowd at the various shows around San Francisco.

Sean
Sean’s been at Exploring Music since 2015 teaching piano technique, performance, and sight-reading, as well as basic-to-intermediate music theory. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco where we was also the Assistant Musical Director for ASUSF Voices.
